The gglAdWVideoAdd type is used to describe a Google AdWords marketing ad whose type is "Video Ad".
A video ad played on a page is displayed as a static opening image. The video is played when the user clicks this image or the play button. If the user clicks the URL displayed at the bottom of the ad or the ad itself while the video is played, it is automatically redirected to the specified Web site.
Caution: The videos used by the Google AdWords ads cannot be uploaded by programming. The users must upload the videos from the interface of Google AdWords beforehand.
The characteristics of this video ad can be defined and modified by several WLanguage properties.

Properties specific to the description of gglAdWVideoAd variables

The following properties can be used to handle a video ad:
Name Type used Effect
ExemptionRequestCharacter stringText explaining why the ad does not comply with the use conditions of the service. This text can also be used to ask for an exception to this violation.
DisapprovedBoolean
  • True if the ad was disapproved by Google,
  • False otherwise. This property is available in read-only.
StateString constantCurrent status of the ad.
The available values are:
  • gglActive: The ad is active.
  • gglPaused: The ad is paused.
  • gglDeleted: The ad is deleted.
IdentifierCharacter stringIdentifier of the ad. This property is available in read-only.
GroupIdentifierCharacter stringIdentifier of ad group to which the ad belongs.
ImagegglAdWImageChracteristics of the image for opening the video ad.
NameCharacter stringName of the video ad (up to 50 characters)
TypeCharacter stringType of the ad. This property is available in read-only.
The type of a video ad is "VideoAd".
DisplayedURLCharacter stringURL displayed in the ad (up to 35 characters).
DestinationURLCharacter stringURL associated with the ad (up to 1024 characters). When the URL is clicked, the corresponding page will be displayed in the browser of the Web user.

Note: These properties can be handled by using one of the following syntaxes:
