The rssCloud type is used to describe the method for subscribing to the notifications of modification made to the RSS stream. The characteristics of this type of variable can be defined and modified by several WLanguage properties.
This type of variable is used by the rssStream type.
Notes:
  • In most cases, the declaration of a rssCloud variable is not required. Indeed, the properties of the rssStream type allow you to directly handle the properties of the rssCloud type (especially the ..Cloud property).

Properties specific to the description of rssCloud variables

The following properties can be used to handle a rssCloud variable:

PathCharacter stringAccess path to the service.
DomainCharacter stringName of the hosting company that hosts the server.
PortIntegerNumber of the TCP port onto which the service is listening.
ProcedureCharacter stringName of the procedure of the Web service that will be called to get the notifications.
ProtocolCharacter stringType of protocol used by the Web service.
Note: These properties can be used with one of the following syntaxes:
  • <Variable Name>..<Property Name>
  • <Variable Name>.<Property Name>
