Syntax
<Result> = dCopyScreenImage([<X> [, <Y> [, <Width> [, <Height>]]]])
<Result>: Image or Binary Buffer variable
  • Name of Image variable that will contain the screen shot
  • Binary buffer corresponding to the image. This buffer can be directly assigned to an Image control.
<X>: Optional integer
X coordinate (in pixels) of top left corner of the screen area to copy (0 by default, corresponding to the top left corner of screen 1).
<Y>: Optional integer
Y coordinate (in pixels) of top left corner of the screen area to copy (0 by default, corresponding to the top left corner of screen 1).
<Width>: Optional integer
Width (in pixels) of screen area to copy (width of the screen by default).
<Height>: Optional integer
Height (in pixels) of screen area to copy (height of the screen by default).
Remarks
In Windows XP SP2 and earlier versions, dCopyScreenImage can only be used to capture the main screen.
