Overview
Regardless of the type of site created by WEBDEV (static site or dynamic site), WEBDEV Development version allows your to automatically install the site on the server.
  • If you develop a static site or a PHP site:
The "Workshop .. Create the setup procedure" option starts WDDeploy. This tool is used to deploy your static site or your PHP site by FTP or by network. See Help about WDDeploy for more details.The "Workshop .. Deploy the site .. Deploy the site" option starts WDDeploy. This tool is used to deploy your static site or your PHP site by FTP or by network. See Help about WDDeploy for more details.The "Workshop .. Deploy the site .. Deploy the site remotely" option or the "Workshop .. Deploy the site .. Create a setup by physical media" option starts WDDeploy. This tool is used to deploy your static site or your PHP site by FTP or by network. To start WWDeploy, on the "Project" pane, in the "Generation" group, expand "Deploy the site" and select "Create a setup by physical media" or "Deploy the site remotely". PHP The option "Workshop .. Deploy the site .. Create a PHP package for Windows Azure" is used to prepare the PHP site to be installed in Windows Azure Cloud.
To use this option, the Windows Azure SDK must be installed on the development computer (the Windows Azure software development kit can be installed from http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=15658).
The option "Workshop .. Deploy the site .. Create a PHP package for Windows Azure" creates a specific package. Then, this package can be directly uploaded into the Azure Cloud from the dedicated portal.

Reminder: A library is a WDL file that contains all the WEBDEV resources: pages, reports, classes, sets of procedures, ... The presence of a library is required for a dynamic site.
2. Choose the type of setup:
  • If you develop a dynamic site:
