Setup wizard: Configuring the automatic modification of data files
Overview
The automatic modification of data files is used to update the description of the data files found on the user computers.
Reminder: The setup in CAB format does not allow you to perform the automatic modification of the data files.
Note: From version 19, HFSQL is the new name of HyperFileSQL.
Configuring the automatic data modification with the wizard
In the wizard:
  1. Select the application (".EXE" file) for which the automatic modification of the data files must be performed.
  2. To perform the automatic modification of data files, check the "Auto modification" column.
  3. Click the "Advanced" button.
  4. Select the HyperFileSQL analysis (".WDD" file) associated with the application.Select the HFSQL Mobile analysis (".WDD" file) associated with the application.
  5. For each data file of the analysis, specify (if necessary) the password of the data file (if it exists) in the analysis.
    To modify this password, check "Modify the password" and type the new password twice.
    Note: This information (except for the passwords) is automatically displayed.
  6. If the application is using HyperFileSQL Client/Server connections, click the "HyperFileSQL Client/Server connections" tab and select the connections that will be used for the automatic update of data files. If the application is using HFSQL Client/Server connections, click the "HFSQL Client/Server connections" tab and select the connections that will be used for the automatic update of data files.
