ceDeleteFile (Function)
In French: ceSupprimeFichier
Deletes a file from the Mobile Device (Pocket PC) connected to the current computer.
Note: The file can be deleted only if a connection is established between the current computer and the Mobile Device (ceConnect).
Example
// Delete a file from the Mobile Device connected to the current computer
ResDelete = ceDeleteFile("\MyFiles\Images")
// Has a problem occurred?

Syntax
<Result> = ceDeleteFile(<Path of File to Delete>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the function was successful,
  • False otherwise. To find out the error details, use ErrorInfo.
<Path of File to Delete>: Character string (with quotes)
Name and full path of the file that must be deleted from the Mobile device connected to the current computer.
The wildcard characters (*,?) are allowed in the name of the file.
Remarks
The operating mode of ceDeleteFile is equivalent to the operating mode of fDelete.
The only difference is:
  • ceDeleteFile deletes a file from a Mobile device from a WINDEV application.
  • fDelete deletes a file from the Mobile Device only from a WINDEV Mobile application.
