<Result>: Character string

Remarks

Avoid using Charact

The following preset constants enable you to avoid using Charact:
ConstantValueFunction
CRCharact(13) + Charact(10)Carriage Return
TABCharact(9)Tabulation
ESCCharact(27)Esc key
ESPCharact(160)Non-breaking space
Windows Mobile

UNICODE and ANSI

About 30 specific characters have a different ASCII code according to their format (UNICODE or ANSI). If the value of <ASCII Code to Convert> corresponds to one of these characters (value included between 0 and 255), Charact returns the same result in UNICODE and in ANSI.
For example:
Charact1 = Charact(128)     // Returns "€"
Charact2 = Charact(8364)      // Returns "€"
The values of <ASCII Code to Convert> included between 256 and 65535 allow Charact to manage all the UNICODE characters.
