Syntax

<Result>: Character string
Name of the next control in edit. The case of the control name (uppercase/lowercase characters) corresponds to the one used when the control was created in the editor.
Remarks
  • ControlNext can only be called in the exit process of a control. The name of the control will be meaningless if ControlNext is called in another process.
  • When the user presses the TAB key, ControlNext returns the name of the control that follows the current one in the tabulation order defined in the editor ("Window .. Tab order .. Edit").When the user presses the TAB key, ControlNext returns the name of control that follows the current one in the tab order defined in the editor.
    Reminder: To define the tab order in the window editor, on the "Window" pane, in the "Order" group, expand "Navigation" and select "Edit".
  • On the contrary, when the user clicks a control, ControlNext returns the name of the control that was clicked by the user.
