Syntax
<Result> = ControlFirst([<Window Name>])
<Result>: Character string
  • Name of the first control in edit in the specified window (this control can take focus and it cannot be invisible or read-only).
  • Empty string ("") if no control can take focus or if the specified window does not exist.
<Window Name>: Optional character string (with or without quotes)
Name of window used.
If this parameter is not specified or if it corresponds to an empty string (""), the current window will be used.
Remarks

First control in the navigation order

The tab order of the window controls corresponds to the order in which the controls take focus when pressing the TAB key.
To define the tab order in the window editor, select "Windows .. Tab order .. Edit".To define the tab order in the window editor, on the "Window" pane, in the "Order" group, expand "Navigation" and select "Edit".
The controls taken into account by the navigation order are not necessarily edit controls: the combo boxes, radio buttons, list boxes, etc. can be taken into account by the navigation order.
