dSaveImage is kept for backward compatibility
In this version, the management of image backup was improved. Four functions can now be used to save the images:
These functions enable you optimize the backups of images.
Note: These functions cannot be used in the reports.
The documentation about dSaveImage is as follows.
 
Purpose
Save an image on disk.
Syntax
<Result> = dSaveImage(<NameImageControl> , <FileName> [,<NumberColor> [, <Format> [, <Quality>]]])
  • <Result> is a boolean that is set to True if the backup was successfully performed.
  • <NameImageControl> is the name of the Image control that must be saved.
  • <FileName> is the name of the file.
  • <NumberColors> is an integer used to define the number of colors in the image saved (0 by default).
  • <Format> "BMP" (by default) or "JPG" or "GIF".
  • <Quality> backup quality: between 1 and 100 for JPEG, between 16 and 256 for GIF (=number of colors in the palette), not used for BMP

dSaveImage saves the visible section of the relevant Image control.

Notes
The existence of the file is not checked. The file is overwritten if it existed.
dSaveImage is used to save images for the screen resolutions up to 32 bits.
The drawing functions (starting with the letter "d") must only be used with the "image" controls.
