Syntax
<Result> = VideoStop(<Camera Control> [, <Action to Stop>])
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the display and/or the recording in the Camera control is stopped properly,
  • False if an error occurred. To find out the error details, use ErrorInfo.
<Camera Control>: Control name
Name of Camera control to use.
<Action to Stop>: Optional integer constant
Type of action to stop:
viStopDisplayStops displaying the video. The specified Camera control becomes empty.
viStopCaptureStops recording the video. The generated file is available.
viStopAll
(Default value)
Stops displaying and recording the video. The generated file is available. The specified Camera control becomes empty.

Use conditions

  • WINDEVWindows To use this function, a "camera" must be connected to the current computer.
  • Windows Mobile This function requires a device that operates in Windows CE version 5.0 (or later) and that is equipped with a camera.
  • Versions 16 and later
    Android This function requires a device equipped with a camera. It can also be used during an execution in the Android emulator.
