Connects the "Camera" control to a specific driver for video capture.
Caution:
  • To use this function, a "camera" must be connected to the current computer.
  • To find out the list of drivers for video capture installed on the current computer, use VideoListDriver (associated with the viDirectShow constant). To find out the driver that is currently associated with a Camera control, use ..Driver.

Syntax
<Result> = VideoSetDriver(<Camera Control> , <Identifier of Video Driver>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the video driver associated with the control was modified,
  • False if a problem occurred. To find out the error details, use ErrorInfo.
<Camera Control>: Control name
Name of Camera control to use.
<Identifier of Video Driver>: Character string (with quotes)
Identifier of video driver to use. This identifier has the following format:
<Driver Name> + TAB + <Driver Version>
This identifier corresponds to the list format returned by VideoListDriver (associated with the viDirectShow constant).
