Overview
A Table control can be a browsing Table, a Table on source or a memory Table:
  • A browsing Table control is used to display data coming from a specific data source (data file, query, ...).
  • A Table control on source is used to display data coming from a variable.
    Android This type of control is not available.
  • A memory Table control is used to display data defined by programming.
Versions 20 and later

Content of Table control
The content of the control is defined when creating the control and it can be modified in the description of the Table control ("Content" tab).
This screen is used to specify whether the control is a:
  • Browsing table ("File/Query" option),
  • Memory table ("By programming" option),
  • Table on source ("By variable" option).
For a Table control on source, this screen is used to define the source browsed and the stored variable. See The Table on source control for more details.
For a browsing Table control, this screen is used to define the characteristics of the browse performed on the data source. See Link between a Table control and a data file for more details.
