Modifies the current group of contacts in the address book of a Lotus Notes or Outlook messaging.
When reading a group of contacts, the data of this group is updated in the Group structure. To modify the current group, all you have to do is modify the values of the Group structure and validate the modifications with GroupModify.
Caution: This function cannot be used to modify the current group of contacts in the address book of an Outlook Express messaging.

Syntax
<Result> = GroupModify(<Session identifier>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the modification was performed,
  • False otherwise. To get more details on the error, use ErrorInfo with the errMessage constant.
<Session identifier>: Integer
Session ID to be used. This identifier is returned by one of the following functions: EmailStartNotesSession, EmailStartOutlookSession, NotesOpenDatabase or OutlookStartSession.
Remarks

Version of Outlook used

The groups of contacts are not supported by Outlook 97. Therefore, no group of contacts can be modified in this version of Outlook.
