..WithZoom is used to find out whether the user can perform a zoom in an HTML control found in an Android, iPhone or iPad application.

Syntax

Finding out whether an HTML control supports the zoom Hide the details

<Result> = <Control Name>..WithZoom
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the HTML control supports the zoom,
  • False otherwise.
<Control Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the HTML control to use.

Allowing (or not) the zoom in an HTML control Hide the details

<Control Name>..WithZoom = <Zoom>
<Control Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the HTML control to use.
<Zoom>: Boolean
  • True if the HTML control must allow the zoom,
  • False otherwise.
Remarks
  • If the zoom is allowed, the user will be able to modify the zoom by moving his fingers on the screen.
  • Android If the zoom is allowed, two zoom buttons are also available.
  • iPhone/iPad In an iPhone/iPad application, you must refresh (or change) the page displayed by the HTML control in order for the activation (or deactivation) of the zoom to be taken into account.
  • The property has no effect in simulator mode.
