HierarchicalDepth (Property)

..HierarchicalDepth is used to:
  • Find out the depth of a hierarchical control found in a report.
  • Modify the depth of a hierarchical control found in a report (only if the report is using a data source by programming).
This property can only be used in the processes of a "Report on treeview table" report.

Finding out the level of depth for a hierarchical control Hide the details

<Result> = <Control Name>..HierarchicalDepth
<Result>: Integer
Depth of the hierarchical control: 0 for the root, 1 for the first level, ...
<Control Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the hierarchical control to use.

Modifying the level of depth for a hierarchical control Hide the details

<Control Name>..HierarchicalDepth = <New Depth>
<Control Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the hierarchical control to use. This report must use a data source by programming.
<New Depth>: Integer
New depth for the hierarchical control: 0 for the root, 1 for the first level, ...
Remarks
..HierarchicalDepth only applies to the "Report on treeview table" reports.
