Retrieves a data from a Surface chart.

<Result> = grSurfaceGetData(<Chart name> , <Index> , <Value to retrieve>)
<Result>: Real
Retrieved value.
<Chart name>: Control name or character string
Name of the chart to be used.
This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined through programming with grCreate,
  • the name of the Chart control (in the window, page or report editor).
<Index>: Integer
Data index defined by the order of addition in the chart.
If the data corresponding to the specified index does not exist, the retrieved value is 0.
<Value to retrieve>: Integer
Indicates the value to retrieve:
grXCoordinateX-coordinate of the point to retrieve.
grYCoordinateY-coordinate of the point to retrieve.
grZCoordinateZ-coordinate of the point to retrieve.
Remarks
  • Reminder: For the data in a Surface chart, the XY plane constitutes the base of the surface while Z indicates the height of the point.
  • To retrieve data from a Stock chart, it is recommended to use grStockGetData.
  • To retrieve data from a Scatter chart, it is recommended to use grScatterGetDataXY.
  • To retrieve a data from a chart, use grGetData.
