The WithClosingButton property is used to:
  • Find out whether all panes of a dynamic tab have an "X" icon.
  • Configure all panes of a dynamic tab in order to display an "X" icon.
Reminder: The "X" allows the end user to close a tab pane.
Example
TAB_DynamicTab.WithClosingButton = True

<Tab control>.WithClosingButton = <Closing cross>
<Tab control>: Control name
Name of the Tab control to be used.
<Closing cross>: Boolean
  • True if the panes of a dynamic Tab control must display an "X" icon,
  • False if the panes of a dynamic Tab control must not display an "X" icon.
Remarks
  • The "Closing a pane" event is run when the user clicks the "X" button (if any). The pane is closed if this event does not prevent the user from closing it (with the "RESULT False" statement or SetFocusAndReturnToUserInput).
  • If the panes do not have an "X" button, the following Automatic Application Features (AAF) in the context menu of the pane are disabled:
    • Close,
    • Close all the other ones,
    • Close all on right,
    • Close all on left.
  • The "X" icon cannot be deleted or displayed for a single tab pane: either all the tab panes display the closing cros, or none of them.
Minimum version required
  • Version 20
