Adds a new image to the map displayed in a Map control.
Example
// Add an image to the Map control
ImageOnMap is MapImage
ImageOnMap.Position = MyPosition
ImageOnMap.Image = "image.png"

MAP_MyMap.AddImage(ImageOnMap)
Syntax
<Result> = <Map control>.AddImage(<Image>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the image could be added,
  • False otherwise. To get the details of the error, use ErrorInfo.
<Map control>: Control name
Name of the Map control to be used.
<Image>: MapImage variable
Name of the MapImage variable that corresponds to the image to be added.
Remarks
  • If the image has already been added to the Map control or if it is invalid (e.g.: unspecified width), a fatal error will be displayed.
  • To delete an image drawn in a Map control, use <Map>.DeleteImage.
  • To modify an image drawn in a Map control, use <Map>.ModifyImage.
