Overview

The Body complement block is a block found in a report created with the report editor. The Body complement block is linked to the Body block. This block is used to fill the print until the page footer if the number of lines issued from the Body block is not sufficient.

This block is printed as soon as a free space if found between the Body block and the Page footer block.

Creating the "Body complement" block

To create a Body Complement block:

Perform one of the following operations in the report editor:
- under "Creation", in the "Structure" group, unroll "Blocks".
- select "Add a block" from the popup menu of the report (right mouse click on the report currently created).
- click the "Add a block" button in the "Blocks" tab of the report description.
Select the "Body complement" type.

after the Body block: select "After the "Body" block" in the "General" tab of the block description.
before the Page Footer block: select "Before the "Page footer" block" in the "General" tab of the block description.

Frequency for printing the Body Complement block

The Body complement block can be printed:

only if a Body block is found in the page: select "Only if a "Body" block is found in the page" in the "General" tab of the block description.
on each page of the report: select "On each page" in the "General" tab of the block description.
This option can be useful if the last page of your report contains no Body block.
