Overview of the Splitter control The Splitter control is used to divide a window into several distinct areas. These areas can be resized by the user at runtime.
Creating a Splitter control To create a Splitter control: - On the "Creation" tab, in the "Adjust" group, click "Splitter".
- Click at the desired location to create the control.
Remark: The Ctrl key is used to automatically modify the orientation of the splitter. - The wizard for splitter creation starts.
- Specify the orientation of the control and enter the name of the control.
- Finish the wizard.
To view the characteristics of the control, select "Description" in the context menu. Managing the splitter The different areas of the window are delimited: - by one of the window sides.
- by a splitter.
Remarks: - A control displayed in an area is anchored in relation to this area and not to the window.
- A Splitter control:
- can be horizontal or vertical.
- cannot be associated with an item.
