3. Handling files on an FTP server

The FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a protocol used to transfer files from a site to another remote site. This protocol is used to exchange files by TCP/IP, Internet Wi-Fi or ActiveSync.

Several thousands of file servers can be accessed by FTP on Internet. These servers propose shareware or freeware accessible to the public.

Several WLanguage functions allow you to manage files on an FTP server from your WINDEV Mobile applications.

How to browse local help?

All you have to do is configure your product as follows:

Select "Tools .. Options .. General options of …".
In the "Help" tab, select "Use the local help database" and specify (if necessary) the path of the "Help" directory of your product.
Validate. The help used by default will be the local help installed on your computer.
