Environment of the window editor

The main elements of the window editor of WINDEV are as follows:


	Ribbon Gives quick access to the main features of window editor.
	Alignment rulers Used to align the controls in the window. To display the rulers, press Ctrl + R.
	Open document tabs Each tab corresponds to an open document. Clicking a tab opens the element in the corresponding editor.
	Selected control Control currently modified. Black handles allow you to easily identify the selected control. For more details, see Select one or more controls.
	Anchoring The red arrows indicate the anchoring of the control. Reminder: The anchoring is used to manage the position of the control when the window is resized.
	Dockable panes Displays: the shortcuts to the main features available in the current editor ("Commands" pane). the most common features ("Commands" pane). the elements (windows, reports, controls, etc.) available in the current project ("Project explorer" pane). ...
	Description window Used to view and/or modify the characteristics: the selected controls. the selected window. This information is also displayed in the modifier ("Modifier" pane).
