..FontCondensed is used to manage the spacing of characters in a font. You can:
  • Find out whether the characters in a text are condensed or not.
  • Condense (or not) the characters.
The following types of spacing between characters are supported in WLanguage:
  • Normal: the spacing between characters is normal.
  • Condensed: the spacing between characters is reduced (..FontCondensed).
  • Extended: the spacing between characters is increased (..FontExtended).
  • Large: the spacing between characters is increased to the maximum (..FontLarge).

Syntax

<Result> = <Control Name>..FontCondensed
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the characters displayed in the text are condensed,
  • False otherwise.
<Control Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)

  • True if the characters displayed in the text must be condensed,
  • False otherwise.
Remarks

Font variable

If identical fonts (same size, same attribute, ...) must be applied to several controls, we recommend that you use a font created by programming.
A font can be created from a Font variable.

  • a Static control.
  • a URL Link control.
  • a calculated control.
  • a preset control.
