..DisplayedItemImage is used to:
  • Find out the item corresponding to the image displayed in a ListView control.
  • Modify the item corresponding to the image displayed in a ListView control.
Note: This item can come from a data file, a view or a query.

Syntax

Finding out the item corresponding to the image displayed Hide the details

<Displayed Item> = <Name of ListView Control>..DisplayedItemImage
<Displayed Item>: Character string
Name of item corresponding to the image displayed in the ListView control.
<Name of ListView Control>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of ListView control to use.

Modifying the item corresponding to the image displayed Hide the details

<Name of ListView Control>..DisplayedItemImage = <New Item>
<Name of ListView Control>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of ListView control to use.
<New Item>: Character string
Name of new item that will be used to display the image of ListView control. This item must belong to the file browsed by the control (returned or modified by ..BrowsedFile).
Remarks

Image and caption

..DisplayedItemImage is used to find out and modify the item corresponding to the images displayed in the control.
..DisplayedItemenables you to find out and modify the item corresponding to the captions of the elements displayed in the control.

Handling the ListView controls via the properties

  • The records displayed in a browsing ListView control come from the file or from the query specified by ..BrowsedFile.
  • The sort direction is defined by ..BrowsedItem.
  • The records can be filtered by ..Filter or by HFilter.

Limit

..DisplayedItemImage only applies to the ListView controls.
