..Sorted is used to:
  • Find out whether a control is sorted.
  • Sort a control or not.
Windows Mobile This property is available for the memory List Box, ListView and Combo Box controls.
Notes:
  • The Sorted option is used to sort the elements in the List Box or Combo Box control when it is displayed. If the control is sorted, the elements will be added (ListAdd) taking the sort into account (elements will be actually inserted).
  • For the ListView controls, the sort is performed according to the captions of the elements.
  • This option can be chosen in the window or page editor in the control description ("Details" tab, "Sorted list" option).

Syntax

Find out whether a control is sorted Hide the details

<Result> = <Control name>..Sorted
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the specified control is sorted,
  • False otherwise.
<Control name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of control to use:
  • Name of the List Box or ListView control.
  • Name of the Combo Box control.

Sort a control or not Hide the details

<Control name>..Sorted = <To sort>
<Control name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the control to sort:
  • Windows Mobile Name of the List Box or ListView control.
  • Windows Mobile Name of the Combo Box control.
<To sort>: Boolean
  • True if the specified control must be sorted,
  • False otherwise.
Remarks

Limits

Windows Mobile ..Sorted only applies to the memory List Box, ListView and Combo Box controls. ..Sorted does not apply to the Table List Box and Combo Box controls.
