Identifies or defines whether a series is refreshed whenever the chart is drawn. In this case, the content of the series is automatically recalculated whenever grDraw is called.
Use example: a series in a chart is used as reference series: this series is not automatically refreshed.

Identifying the mode used to refresh the series Hide the details

<Result> = grAutoRefreshSeries(<Chart name> , <Series number>)
<Result>: Boolean
Current mode for updating the series:
  • True if the series is automatically refreshed,
  • False otherwise.
<Chart name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of chart to use. This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined by programming with grCreate.
  • the name of Chart control found in the window editor, page editor or report editor.
<Series number>: Integer
Number of the affected series.

grAutoRefreshSeries(<Chart name> , <Series number> , <Refresh mode>)
<Chart name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of chart to use. This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined by programming with grCreate.
  • the name of Chart control found in the window editor, page editor or report editor.
<Series number>: Integer
Number of the affected series.
<Refresh mode>: Boolean
  • True if the series must be automatically refreshed,
  • False otherwise.
Remarks
grAutoRefreshSeries is equivalent to ..AutoRefresh.
