Visual code scrollbar
Overview
The visual code scrollbar is a scroll mode in the code editor.
The right (or left) section of code editor displays the code in reduced size.
The active viewing window is materialized. And the movement of the small preview window also moves the content of the code editor.

This mode provides precision, speed and comfort when scrolling. This mode also offers a preview of all processes. For example, all the procedures found in a set of procedures or all the methods of a class are displayed.
Versions 22 and later
The visual scrollbar signals:
  • the compilation errors. The lines containing a compilation error are highlighted in red.
  • the search results. The lines containing a sought element are highlighted in orange.

How to proceed?
To manage the display of visual scrollbar in the code editor:
  1. Open the options of code editor: On the "Home" pane, in the "Environment" group, expand "Options" and select "Options of the code editor".
  2. In the window that is displayed, select the "Code" tab.

  3. Select the requested type of scrollbar:
    • Standard scrollbar.
    • Visual scrollbar to left.
    • Visual scrollbar to right.
  4. Validate.
