Syntax
<Result> = CharactType(<Character>)
<Result>: Integer constant (or combination of constants)
Type of studied character:
ctAccentAccented or diacritical character.
The ctAccent constant is always combined with the ctAlpha constant.
ctSpaceSpace.
ctAlphaLetter.
ctUppercaseUppercase character.
The ctUppercase constant is always combined with the ctAlpha constant.
ctLowercaseLowercase character.
The ctLowercase constant is always combined with the ctAlpha constant.
ctNumericNumeric character.
ctPunctuationPunctuation character.
<Character>: Character string (with quotes)
Character to use.
Remarks
  • The character 0 returns 0.
  • Some constants can be combined (ctAccent, ctAlpha, ctUppercase and ctLowercase): an information can be checked via BinaryAND or via the "&" operator.
