WEBDEV 2024 is an Integrated Development Environment for creating and deploying Internet and Intranet sites.
These sites can be installed on an Internet or Intranet server and can be accessed from any computer via an Internet browser.
WEBDEV is composed of the following elements: - WEBDEV Development version, used to develop and test WEBDEV 2024 sites or applications.
- The WEBDEV Application Server (also called WEBDEV Deployment in earlier versions), which allows you to:
- use WEBDEV 2024 sites installed on a server.
- use web services developed with WINDEV or WEBDEV 2024.
You are about to install the WEBDEV Application Server. This module must be installed on the Internet or Intranet server before installing the WEBDEV websites. Remarks: - The WEBDEV Application Server and WEBDEV 2024 Development version should not be installed on the same computer.
- The WEBDEV 2024 Application Server can be installed on the same server as an earlier version. All versions of the WEBDEV Application Server (and/or WEBDEV Deployment) can coexist on the same server.
