Syntax
<Result> = grSurfaceGetData(<Chart name> , <Subscript> , <Value to retrieve>)
<Result>: Real Retrieved value. <Chart name>: Control name or character string Name of the chart to be used. This name corresponds to:- the chart name defined through programming with grCreate,
- the name of the Chart control (in the window, page or report editor).
<Subscript>: Integer Subscript of the data defined by the addition order in the chart. If the data corresponding to the specified subscript does not exist, the retrieved value is 0. <Value to retrieve>: Integer Indicates the value to retrieve: | | grXCoordinate | X-coordinate of the point to retrieve. | grYCoordinate | Y-coordinate of the point to retrieve. | grZCoordinate | Z coordinate of the point to retrieve. |
Remarks - Reminder: For the data in a Surface chart, the XY plane constitutes the base of the surface while Z indicates the height of the point.
- To retrieve data from a stock chart, it is recommended to use the grStockGetData function.
- To retrieve data from a Scatterplot, it is recommended to use the grScatterGetDataXY function.
- To retrieve a data from a chart, use grGetData.
