..TimestampType is used to:
  • Find out the type of timestamp for an item. This item was defined in the data model editor or by programming.
  • Define the type of timestamp for a Date, Time or DateTime item (when describing the item by programming).
Example

AnItem is Item Description

Syntax

Find out the type of timestamp for an item Hide the details

<Result> = <File Name>.<Item Name>..TimestampType
<Result>: Integer constant
Type ot timestamp for the item:
htsNoneNo timestamp.
htsCreationTimestamp when creating the record only.
htsLastModificationTimestamp whenever modifying the record.
<File Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of data file used.
<Item Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of item used.

Name of item used. This name was defined by the Item Description type.
<Type of Timestamp>: Integer constant
Type ot timestamp for the item:
htsNoneThe item is not a timestamp item.
htsCreationThe item is a timestamp item filled when creating the record only.
htsLastModificationThe item is a timestamp item filled whenever modifying the record.
Remarks
  • In the data model editor, you have the ability to define a Timestamp item.
  • To de fine a Timestamp item by programming:
    • The item must be a DateTime, Date or Time item,
    • the timestamp type is specified by ..TimestampType.
