<Result>: Integer
  • 0, no limit is defined for the maximum width of a button found in a tab pane.
  • Maximum width (in pixels) of a button found in a tab pane.
<Tab control>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of Tab control to use.

Name of Tab control to use.
<Width>: Integer
  • Maximum width (in pixels) of a button found in a tab pane.
  • 0 to specify no limit.
Remarks
  • ..MaxButtonWidth is used to limit the size of buttons when the Tab control is using the option "Size of panes: Proportional to caption" ("Details" tab in the description window of the control).
  • Case of dynamic tabs: The tab caption is automatically calculated. ..MaxButtonWidth is used to avoid the too long captions and therefore the too large buttons.
  • If the caption of buttons exceeds the specified size, the caption is displayed with an ellipsis at the end ("...").
