Indicates the spacing between each data category in:
  • a Column chart,
  • Versions 17 and later
    a Funnel chart,
    New in version 17
    a Funnel chart,
    a Funnel chart,
  • a Minimum/Maximum stock chart.

Reminder: The space between two data categories is equal to 10 pixels by default.

CHART_MyChart.ColumnSpacing(15)
Syntax
<Chart control>.ColumnSpacing(<Spacing>)
<Chart control>: Control name
Name of the Chart control to use (found in the window editor, page editor or report editor).
PHP Only the interactive Chart controls are available.
<Spacing>: Integer
Spacing (in pixels) between two categories.
Remarks

Spacing

If the destination is large enough, the spacing is expressed as follows:
Spacing
If the destination does not allow you to display the spacing, the spacing is set to 0: therefore, the bars are "stuck" together.

Effect due to spacing

  • The spacing between two data categories has no effect on the charts other than:
    • Column charts,
    • Versions 17 and later
      Funnel charts,
      New in version 17
      Funnel charts,
      Funnel charts,
    • Minimum/Maximum Stock charts.
  • The modifications performed by <Chart>.ColumnSpacing will be taken into account during the next call to <Chart>.Draw.
