The "Interactive zoom" pane
Overview
The "Interactive zoom" pane is used to zoom the section currently hovered by the mouse cursor.
The popup menu (right click) of the "Interactive zoom" pane allows you to:
  • Modify the zoom factor.
  • Modify the refresh rate for displaying the zoomed section.
Displaying the "Interactive zoom" pane
To display the "Interactive zoom" pane, go to the "Home" tab, "Environment" group, expand "Panes", select "Panes", and then select "Interactive zoom".

Using the "Interactive zoom" pane
To perform a zoom in the section currently hovered by the mouse cursor:
  1. Display the "Interactive zoom" pane.
  2. Click in the "Interactive zoom" pane to enable the zoom.
  3. If necessary, right-click the "Interactive zoom" pane to open the context menu, and change the zoom factor and/or refresh rate for the zoomed section.
  4. Hover the mouse cursor over the zoomed area to be viewed.
  5. Click in the "Interactive zoom" pane to disable the zoom.
Remark: When using the interactive zoom, the following information is displayed:
  • the zoom factor. This factor can be changed at any time via the context menu of the "Interactive zoom" pane (right click).
  • the refresh rate of the zoomed section. This characteristic can be changed at any time via the context menu of the "Interactive zoom" pane (right click).
  • the Red, Green and Blue components of the pixel currently hovered by the mouse cursor. The pixel hovered by the mouse cursor corresponds to the black dot found in the center of the "Interactive zoom" pane.
  • the X and Y-coordinates of the pixel currently hovered by the mouse cursor in relation to the upper-left corner of the screen (the screen on the left when using several screens). The pixel hovered by the mouse cursor corresponds to the black dot found in the center of the "Interactive zoom" pane.
