..YImage is used to find out and modify the origin (Y coordinate) of the image section that will be displayed in an Image control or in the background of a Chart control.
Reminder: The origin of the image corresponds to the point of the image that will be displayed in the top left corner of the control. By default, ..YImage is equal to 0.

Syntax

Finding out the Y coordinate of image section Hide the details

<Result> = <Control name>..YImage
<Result>: Integer
Y coordinate of the image section that will be displayed in the control (in pixels).
<Control name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the control to use (Image control or Chart control).

Modifying the Y coordinate of the image section Hide the details

<Control name>..YImage = <New Y coordinate>
<Control name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the control to use (Image control or Chart control).
<New Y coordinate>: Integer
New Y coordinate of the image section that will be displayed in the control (in pixels). This value must be positive.
Remarks

Defining the image section

An Image control is used to display a section of the image found in the associated image file. The following properties are used to define the image section that will be displayed in the Image control:
  • ..XImage: used to define the origin of the image section.
  • ..YImage: used to define the origin of the image section.
  • ..ImageHeight: used to define the height of the image section.
  • ..ImageWidth: used to define the width of the image section.
In this example, the image section included in the red border will be displayed in the Image control.

The display mode of this image section will be the one defined for the Image control.

Limits

..YImage only applies to the Image controls and to the Chart controls found in a window. This property does not apply to the Image controls associated with an animated image.
Android ..YImage only applies to the Image controls.
