  • a data file described in the data model editor,
  • a data file described by programming,
  • a HFSQL view,
  • a query.

Syntax
<Number of Items> = <Element Name>..NbItem
<Number of Items>: Integer
Number of items found in a record of the specified object.
<Element Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the element for which you want to find out the number of items for a record
  • name of a data file described in the data model editor or by programming,
  • name of a HFSQL view,
  • name of a query.
Remarks
  • ..NbItem is used to find out the total number of items in a record.
  • ..NbKeyItem is used to find out the total number of key items in a record.
  • ..NbMemoItem is used to find out the total number of memo items in a record.
