..DescribedName is used to manage the logical name of HFSQL data files (while ignoring the possible modifications performed by HAlias). You can:
  • Find out the logical name of an element:
    • data file defined in the data model editor or by programming,
    • view,
    • query
  • Define the logical name of a data file (when the file is described by programming).

<Logical name>: Character string
Logical name of the element:
  • data file defined in the data model editor or by programming,
  • view,
  • query.
<Element>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Element used (by indirection for example).

Defining the logical name of a data file created by programming Hide the details

<File name>..DescribedName = <New name>
<File name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Logical name of data file used. This name was defined by the File description type.
<New name>: Character string (with quotes)
Logical name of the element.
