InitRandom()

Syntax

InitRandom(<n>)

<n>: Integer

Base number for the generator of random numbers.
If this parameter is not specified, the generator of random numbers is based on the system time (hundredths of a second).

Remarks

If InitRandom is not called, the random values generated by Random will be the same whenever the program is run.
Several calls to InitRandom performed in a very short time will return identical sequences because InitRandom is using the system time to generate sets of random numbers.
Using the <n> parameter does not necessarily guarantee to get different sequences.
