Stored procedures
Builds a sequence of characters used to specify whether the text that follows the call to this function is in italics or not.
Note: The entire text written after the function is affected.

  • in an element found in a List Box or Combo Box control.
  • in the title bar and/or status bar of a window.
  • in a Static control.

Syntax
<Result> = gFontItalic([<Italics>])
<Result>: Character string
Sequence of characters defining whether the rest of the text must be written in italics or not.
AndroidiPhone/iPadWindows MobileUniversal Windows 10 App This sequence of characters can be:
<Italics>: Optional boolean
  • True (default) if the text that follows gFontItalic must be written in italics,
  • False otherwise.
Remarks
  • The default font is restored after the call to the gFontXXX functions.
  • All the other characteristics of the font are kept (bold, ...).
  • Android If the "italic" attribute is enabled in the style of the element to which the graphic string is assigned, a call to gFontItalic with <Italic> set to False will not allow you to disable this attribute.

Component

Until version 21, gFontItalic was available in the wdxxxobj component. From version 22, this function is now available in the wdxxxmdl component.
