CloseSession (Function)

In french: FermeSession

Closes a session with Lotus Notes or Outlook.

Reminder: A session is started by EmailStartNotesSession, EmailStartOutlookSession, OutlookStartSession or NotesOpenConnection.

A session that is not ended will be automatically closed at the end of the WINDEV program or WEBDEV session.

Example

// Start a session
SessionID is int
SessionID = EmailStartNotesSession("Password", "MarsServer", ...
"email/julia.nsf", "C:\Lotus Notes\julia.id")
// If a session is started, close this session
IF SessionID <> 0 THEN
CloseSession(SessionID)
END

Syntax

CloseSession(<Session identifier>)

<Session identifier>: Integer

Identifier of the current session. This value is returned by EmailStartNotesSession, EmailStartOutlookSession, OutlookStartSession or NotesOpenConnection.

How to browse local help?

All you have to do is configure your product as follows:

Go to "Home .. Options .. General options of …".
In the "Help" tab, select "Use the local help database" and specify (if necessary) the path of the "Help" directory of your product.
Validate. The help used by default will be the local help installed on your computer.
