Warning
This function is kept for backward compatibility. It is recommended to use a standard FTP, SSH or SCP server. For more details, see Handling files on an FTP server and Standard FTP functions.
Triggers a Windows event on the system of an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or RPC (Remote Procedure Call) server powered by WINDEV. This event will be sent to all the windows opened on the server.
Caution: This function must be used on a client computer.
Remark: To allow (or not) the use of this function on an FTP/RPC server, call NetServerOption.

Syntax
NetSendMessage(<Connection identifier> , <Event> [, <Parameter 1> [, <Parameter 2>]])
<Connection identifier>: Integer
Identifier of the connection for the client computer (returned by NetConnect).
<Event>: Integer or Ansi chracter string
Identifier of the Windows event sent to the windows of the server (number of Windows event or specific character string).
<Parameter 1>: Optional integer
Parameter associated with the event.
<Parameter 2>: Optional integer
Parameter associated with the event.
Remarks

Retrieving the message on the server

The Windows message sent to the server can be retrieved by intercepting the event with the Event function (see the full example).
