Deletes a sub-key from the Windows registry.
Note: RegistryDeleteKey deletes the sub-key, the values and the descendants of specified key.

Path is string

// Delete the key for my application

IF RegistryDeleteKey(Path) = False THEN

ResDelKey = RegistryDeleteKey("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\App")
Syntax
<Result> = RegistryDeleteKey(<Sub-key Path>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the sub-key was deleted or if the key does not exist,
  • False otherwise.
<Sub-key Path>: Character string (with quotes)
Full path of sub-key to delete.
