tapiHold (Function)

Puts a call on hold. This call will remain on hold until the call to tapiUnhold.
Syntax
<Result> = tapiHold(<Call identifier>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the call was put on hold,
  • False otherwise.
<Call identifier>: Integer
Identifier of the call that must be put on hold. This identifier is defined in the WLanguage procedure called by tapiListen.
Remarks

Limitation

tapiHold cannot be called in the procedure for call detection (defined by tapiListen).

Required configuration

Telephony functions use TAPI 2.0 technology and/or TAPI 3.1 technology. These technologies can be used on all systems.
Caution: this feature is not available for all the devices.
