ThreadResume (Function)
In french: ThreadReprend
Warning
This function is strongly not recommended because it violently stops the current thread. It can cause serious problems (critical section not released, etc.). It is recommended to use ThreadWaitSignal and ThreadSendSignal.
Resumes the execution of a thread that was interrupted by ThreadSuspend.
Reminder: A thread is a process run in parallel of current application (main thread). This allows you to run a task in background task for example (backup, ...).
Example
// -- Click on BTN_Save
// Interrupts the print in background task
ThreadSuspend("Print_background")
// Backup
...
// Resumes the print
ThreadResume("Print_background")
Syntax
ThreadResume(<Thread>)
<Thread>: Character string (with quotes)
Name of the thread to restart. This name is given when running the thread (ThreadExecute).
No error occurs if the thread does not exist (thread already stopped for example).
