Overview
WEBDEV allows you to define stackable controls: the stackable controls can be displayed above other controls.
A stackable control can be anchored in relation to its container or in relation to another page control.
How to proceed?

Defining an anchor on stackable controls

To define an anchor on stackable controls:
  1. Select the stackable control.
Reminder: To define a stackable field, check the "The control can be overlaid" option in the "UI" tab of the field description window.
  2. Define the element anchoring:
    • in the "UI" tab of the description window of element.
    • via "Anchor" from the popup menu of relevant element.
  3. The following window is displayed:
In this window, the options are as follows:
    • Se move as the next point of the reference field:
      1. Select the reference control of stackable control. This control can be:
        • The container associated with the control (a Cell control or the page containing the control for example).
        • Another control of same parent (a control associated with the cell for example).
        • Another page control (not stackable).
      2. Click the point in the reference control according to which the stackable control will be anchored.
Remark: the number of possible anchoring points may change according to the selected element.
    • Anchoring in width: allows you to define the behavior of the field width when resizing the reference field.. The superimposed field can:
      • keep its width,
      • adapt to content,
      • change along with the browser.
    • High anchorage: allows you to define the behaviour of the height field when resizing the reference field.. The superimposed field can:
      • keep its height,
      • adapt to content,
      • change along with the browser.
    • It is also possible to define the behavior of the overlay field lwhere the content is larger than the field. You can:
    • stretch the control and push the other controls in the page,
    • truncate the content,
    • always enable a scrollbar,
    • display a scrollbar only when the content is larger than the control.
  4. Validate. The stackable control is anchored.
