Opens a WINDEV window and closes all other previously open windows.

This function has the same effect as PageUse, which improves code portability between WINDEV and WEBDEV.

Syntax

Use(<Name of the window>)

<Name of the window>: Character string

Name of the window to be opened.
By default, the window is displayed according to the position defined in the editor. You can define the display position of the window. The window name is completed by the window display coordinates when opened. This parameter is of the form: "<Window name>, <Row>, <Column>" where:
<Window name>: name of the window to be opened.
<Row>: window display horizontal coordinate (in pixels, relative to the upper-left corner of the screen or parent window).
<Column>: window display vertical coordinate (in pixels, relative to the upper-left corner of the screen or parent window).

Remarks

Opening the window

Previously opened windows are closed. The closing code is not run.
The project initialization code (if running) is interrupted.
The opened window is displayed and its controls are enabled.
The window opening process (if any) is executed.

Characteristics of the opened window

The window to be opened cannot:

return a result (it will be ignored),
accept mandatory parameters.

Title of the window to be opened

By default, the window title is the one defined in the editor.

To change the window title, use NextTitle or CurrentTitle.
