Erases the chart drawing (in an Image control or in a window).
Remark: The chart is not deleted. The chart data and parameters are stored in memory. Simply call grDraw to re-display the chart.
Linux Caution: A specific configuration is required to use this function in Linux. For more details, see The charts.

// Erase the chart named "MyChart"
grClearPict("MyChart")
Syntax
grClearPict(<Chart name>)
<Chart name>: Control name or character string
Name of the chart to erase. This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined through programming with grCreate.
  • the name of the Chart control (in the window or page editor).
Remarks
  • If the chart is drawn in an independent window, the window is closed.
  • grClearPict has no effect if the chart is not drawn.
  • grClearPict has no effect in reports.
  • To delete the chart data, use grDeleteSeries or grDeleteAll.
