..ListViewMode is used to:
  • Find out the display mode of a ListView control.
  • Modify the display mode of a ListView control.
Note: The display mode of a ListView control can also be modified in the editor, in the description window of control ("Details" tab).
Reminder: A ListView control can be displayed:
  • in standard mode: the control is displayed without images.
  • in ListView mode: the control is displayed with images.
  • Versions 16 and later
    in panorama mode: the control is displayed with the images as if they were presented on a curved wall. Only 20 images maximum can be displayed in this mode.
    New in version 16

<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the listview is displayed in "ListView" mode,
  • False if the listview is displayed in "List Box" mode.
<ListView control>: Control name
Name of ListView control to use.

Modifying the display mode of a ListView control Hide the details

<ListView control>..ListViewMode = <New display mode>
<ListView control>: Control name
Name of ListView control to use.
<New display mode>: Boolean
  • True to display the listview in "ListView" mode,
  • False to display the listview in "List Box" mode.

Display mode of ListView control:
lvmListViewListView control displayed in ListView mode.

..ListViewMode can be used on the ListView controls only.
