Erases the chart drawing (in an Image control or in a window).
Note: The chart is not deleted. The chart data and parameters are stored in memory. All you have to do is call grDraw to re-display the chart.

// Erase the chart named "MyChart"
grClearPict("MyChart")
Syntax
grClearPict(<Chart name>)
<Chart name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the chart to erase. This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined by programming with grCreate.
  • the name of Chart control (found in the window editor or page editor).
Remarks
  • If the chart is drawn in an independent window, the window is closed.
  • grClearPict has no effect if the chart is not drawn.
  • grClearPict has no effect in the reports.
  • To delete the chart data, use grDeleteSeries or grDeleteAll.
